Design Our Next Honey Jar

Calling all creatives, big and small: we’re looking for five original artworks to become our next limited-release ‘Art of Pollination’ honey jars, to launch at Pollinate! — our November celebration of all things bees, flowers and food.

Your artwork can help protect bees! Each winning design gets its own limited-release honey jars, sold in-store and online, with 100% of proceeds going straight to the Wheen Bee Foundation to help protect Australia’s bees.

No art degree required. Painters, doodlers, digital wizards, collage fiends. However you make things, we want to see it. Just keep it human: real artwork only, no AI generations. We’ll know!

Win or not, your artwork will be proudly displayed in the Beechworth Honey Shop as part of the Art of Pollination exhibition for all to see.

THE THEME

Bees, Flowers, and Food

Show us the connection between bees and everything that blooms and grows because of them. One rule, your artwork needs to include all three: bees, flowers, and food.

How to Enter

Download the template to ensure your art will fit in the allocated label design space.

Create an original artwork (drawing, painting, digital etc.) that fits the theme: Bees, Flowers & Food. We’re looking for original artwork, no AI generations.

Photograph or scan your artwork, and submit your entry via our online form.

The Prize

  • Your artwork produced as limited-release honey jars, sold in-store and online, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Wheen Bee Foundation.
  • $500 Beechworth Honey gift voucher to spend online.
  • 6x jars of honey featuring your own artwork on the label.

Why Pollination Matters

Bees pollinate one in three mouthfuls of food we eat. They help produce the seeds that support plant life, which in turn supports the overall health of our planet by filtering the water we drink and nourishing the soils we rely on. Bees are truly amazing!
