Bee Cause River Honey is a medium to full-flavoured honey with a pleasant warm sweetness and mild aftertaste. Happy bees gather nectar and pollen from blossom laden eucalypts that rely on the lifeblood of the watercourses that make up Australia’s vast inland network of rivers, creeks and streams.
Bee Cause River honey is produced from the blossoms of the native flora and trees that grow along Australia’s rivers, creeks and billabongs.

Bee Cause River Honey is produced from huge eucalypt trees such as red gums, and the gnarly black box. These trees are supported by Australia’s inland river systems. The trees follow these watercourses and in turn, the bees seek out the tree’s flowers for nourishing nectar which they convert to delicious honey.

“Our aim is to educate people on the diversity of uses for honey and the fact 65% of Australia’s agricultural produce is pollinated by honeybees. This reveals just how important they truly are to our food security.”

The sachets are fantastic for travel (in winter, I take a flask, honey and ginger root on my travels and the honey sachets are very easy), keep at the workplace and things like kids lunchboxes. The river honey is lovely in tea. This is the first time I’ve ordered from this company and I’m very pleased with the product.
