Bulbs for Bees – Hyacinth ‘Blue Blend’
These sweetly scented hyacinths have been specially chosen to attract bees and other pollinators. Their clusters of open flowers provide a valuable source of nectar and pollen during the early part of the flowering season, helping feed bees when other blooms may still be scarce.
The vibrant shades of blue and purple are particularly attractive to bees and create a striking display in garden beds, borders or pots. Easy to grow and beautifully fragrant, they are a wonderful way to support pollinators while adding colour to your garden.
Start planting from March to July for mid-season flowering. Grow approximately 20cm high and 15cm wide.
Grown and packed in Australia.
Due to biosecurity restrictions, we are unable to ship Bulbs for Bees to Western Australia or Tasmania.Â
Why Plant Bulbs for Bees?
Bulbs flower in the late winter to early spring months, providing bees with the vital nectar and pollen they need when sources are scarce. They bloom in dense clusters, come in a variety of bright, vibrant colours bees love, and exude a strong, sweet fragrance that draws pollinators in.
