Planting for Bees! (Year 3 – Year 4)

Learning Kit

Immerse your students in a journey to discover the invaluable relationship between bees and plants. Developed by our very own qualified teachers, ‘Planting for Bees!’ Year 3 – Year 4 includes a complete unit of work including 11x 1 hour lesson plans with a focus on pollination and the European Honey Bee as a vital pollinator.

Students will explore the process of pollination, plant and bee biology, the impact of the honey bee on our food security, and the role we play as humans in supporting the symbiotic relationship between bees and plants. ‘Planting for Bees!’ is aligned with the Australian and Victorian Science Curriculum.

Please note: Learning Kits will NOT be dispatched until January 2026, in readiness for the new school year.

*Unfortunately, due to biosecurity restrictions, shipments to Western Australia will not contain seeds or honey and shipments to Tasmania will not include seeds.
