Beechworth, our hometown
For over 140 years, the Beechworth Honey family has been keeping bees and producing honey in Beechworth. Nestled in Victoria’s scenic northeast, Beechworth is renowned for its gourmet food, wineries and breweries, boutique shopping, historic streetscapes and picturesque countryside. Today, our hives still thrive in the surrounding landscapes, pollinating local orchards and native forests, just as they have for more than a century.
About the artwork
Created by North East Victorian artist Anita Laurence, this artwork beautifully weaves the story of our beekeeping heritage and the place we call home. Every detail in this artwork tells a story, from the first handbuilt honey extracting shed and beekeepers cottage to our flagship Beechworth Honey Store in the heart of town. Anita’s distinctive naive style brings warmth and authenticity, reflecting our deep love of bees, honey, nature and our beautiful hometown of Beechworth.
