Honey and Cheese

The complex and floral notes of honey will add flair and flavour to any cheese board. When most people pull together their go-to cheese board for entertaining, we'd hazard a guess there will be a delicious paste of quince and quite possibly a good handful of dried fruits. We get it, the addition of sweet bursts enhances and enriches the salty deliciousness of cheese. Queue honey. The possibilities are really endless, but let us us introduce you to two of our all time favourite combinations.

Honey & Cheese

Ingredients

Raw Honeycomb & Honey with Marinated Goats' Fetta
  • 250 g Marinated Goats' Fetta
  • 140 g Honey for Cheese Raw Honey & Honeycomb
Creamy Honey with Fig and Ginger and Cheddar Cheese
  • 250 g Aged Cheddar
  • 140 g Honey for Cheese Creamy Honey with Fig & Ginger

Instructions

Raw Honeycomb & Honey with Marinated Goats' Fetta
  • Simply arrange your cheese on your plate or board, and tips the entire contents of the honey and honeycomb directly over the top. The combination of the raw honeycomb with the creaminess of the goats' cheese is a textural and flavour sensation.
Creamy Honey with Fig and Ginger and Cheddar Cheese
  • Creamy honey is a winner on any cheese board, the spreadable texture means that it's much easier (and less sticky to deal with). The warmth of the fig, pepperiness of the cheddar and the sweet bursts of dried fig will soon become a crowd pleaser.

Notes

Our Bee Raw Honey and Honeycomb 325g Jar can also be used for this combination, you might just want to increase the amount of cheese.
