Bee Cause Outback Honey is buttery and warm with luscious rich honey flavours. It is produced in vast unspoiled arid areas where low rainfall, dry deserts, wide-open spaces and a sense of the quiet serenity and beauty of nature is captured in every spoonful.
Bee Cause Outback Honey comes from the inner heart of Australia more fondly known as the “outback”. Arid regions and dry deserts characterise this warm luscious honey.

The outback refers to Australia’s vast landscapes where civilization dwindles, the environment becomes harsher, more remote and the eucalypts even more unique. Gum top box, bimble box, mallee and yupunyah trees, coolibahs and inland ironbarks battle against the elements some of the aridest ancient soils on the planet. Months and sometimes years pass without rain. Honey produced in the outback is eked out by Australia’s inland beekeepers often themselves preferring isolation to civilisation. They are guided by a connection to country and the iconic red soils only truly known by Australia’s indigenous peoples for eons.

“Our aim is to educate people on the diversity of uses for honey and the fact 65% of Australia’s agricultural produce is pollinated by honeybees. This reveals just how important they truly are to our food security.”
